Six days and five nights. One of the best fucking six days and five nights of my life, minus maybe the first two days. I met amazing people, went through an amazing experience and lived in a lifestyle so different from one that I'm used to and I loved it.
Btw, HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE!
I'm like 15 days too late D: and I used to blog everyday. I'll try to blog more and more though since I'm back from camp and the whole post hsc going out every day phase is slowly dying.
For those who don't know what CAMParadise is, its a Buddhist camp held at Nan Tien Temple. It was one of the best experiences in my life. I never expected this to have some a big impact on my life; the way I think and see things. The messages conveyed in lectures and whatnot are so simple and I've always heard the them but never really listened it. I'm not exactly buddhist but I do enjoy and believe in hte lifestyle, other parts I don't really agree with it. But thats the best part, I have a choice. I'm not saying that CAMParadise has fully changed my life and I'm a completely new person but it's slowly helping me to become a better person and I'm not resisting it or hating it. I love it. I've truly been Enlightened! Confidence, self awareness, growth and tranquility.
I loved Lennie's session. It was so deep and intense. I loved Dharma hunt. It was so well organised and constructed and simply fun :D I loved sneaking into other peoples rooms at night. I loved meditating. I loved the early mornings. I loved falling asleep in lectures and having those awkward but funny moments when you wake up to find people staring at you. I loved the activites and games.
Very special shout outs to: Felicia, Kim, Sam Siv, Jade, Louis, Kit, Jess, Peter, Josephine, Jordan, Vee, all the MMC girls, Leonard, and everyone else who made these six days and five nights awesome. It reached the level of EPIC.
Sorry for the cheese. I'll post photos and catch ups later. I went Glebe with Julie today. I love that girl, shes so funny. I bought sweet black pumps for $20. They're pretty.
bbyeee! will blog soon! :D

It sounds utterly ridiculous but if I had time to learn about Buddism I would.
See, I knew it would sound silly.
I am ever so jealous you're englightened. I love that feeling of peace and happiness in the world. Everything makes you appreciate beauty, and sadness is only something you acknowledge as an inevitable part of life.... but who cares, because you're happy!
(Cosmic Love by Florence + the Machineis a good subsitute for enlightednment right now.)
love that you came, wong :)
